my limited engine and muffler

origionally i thought i had some problems with my 55 limited engine , i have just took it apart being a noob and not too sure if anything is wrong with it , any how i think i might part with it as i have just ordered a 55 hyper os can anyone tell me what i might get for the engine

well to be honest mate if as you say it had "problems" and is now in BITS i dont think you would get anything more than about £30.00!!!!
you would be better off getting it looked at by some one with a bit of knowlege..

it might just be creamed egged pmsl its new and not even had a flight but was a rubbing on the back plate which i think was the conrod but all seems good apart from that the clinder liner looks good and so do the crankshaft bearings

Thats ok the backplate keeps the con rod on, you are welcome to send it to me and I will check it for free if you want to just PM me.

What problem(s) did you think you have with the engine in the first place. If it was the rubbing on the backplate ignore it. Is there anything else wrong, and the engine you've just bought is the same as the one you have apart from as Nick says it's a pretty colour

to be honest when i had attached the fan and hub it was grinding on the back plate of the engine and i have had a look inside but to be honest i dont trust it now maybe im being fussy but it definately did not sound right or feel right when i turned the engine over by hand , but perhaps i should use it as spairs if i need them in the future
