Gyro mount and canopy support mods

I could not make the fan in the workshop but made the canopy support mod and Gyro mounting plate !

Just need some hand tools and worth while. Stops the gyro moving with the servos if you want to keep the gyro clean and up front !!

Canopy mounts now should be 37.75mm long now and spacer stops the frames snapping if you go nose into the field ! No lathe, just saw them down !

Align have made kits for both mods but like the fan, not out yet!

Good work Martin. That 611 looks good on there. My 601 will be rear mounted for the time being though.

The tail block spacers look interesting. It doesn't add too much weight to the back end does it? If not I might order a set of those metal ones and do a retrospective mod sometime soon.

I just used some ali bar so the weight will not be an issue!

Any ali rod you have drilled and tapped to 3mm will work. Align kit has another spacer bar that is the same as the one with the rubber canopy supports at the front of the frames.

The studs are just long 3mm set screws you could even cut the heads off some 3mm bolts.

I will do this mod on my 600e too !
