As a Noobe and able to count my flying time in minutes rather than hour's I finally got a few batteries through my 600 tonight on the third pack noticed a twitch in the tail, landed and looked it over, Gyro in HH flicked to RR and back to HH tail blades movement all looked ok. Took off back into hover about 4 Mtrs up tail went wild into fast piro's thought S*%T don't panic keep it level and try and land it managed to land whilst still piro'ing.
Checked it over and found a hairline crack in the Tail pitch Assembly so the slider had pulled off the thread.
Looked on Midlands site and they do an Ali version but the slider is still plastic is there a brass upgrade for the slider?
Only other damage was ripped a bolt out of the tail fin and another from the boom support......Lucky

I picked up an aluminium upgrade Align one from Midlands repaired it at the field this afternoon and had another few flights (Hovers).
