Looking to upgrade to new helicopter. Looking for helicopter that I can eventually add fuselage to, not really into 3D. Any advice or suggestions would be apreciated.

450 pro's are its cheap to run, cheap lipo's and parts, and it takes less room to fly in. cons to the 450 are its twitchyness, it isn't as stable as the 500. It gets small very quickly
, and it won't fly great in a decent wind.
The 500 pro's are its stable, handles the wind well, easily visible, easier to work on. And the con's to it are its more in lipo cost about 40% more, and will cost more if it goes "in". Also I have found the 500 actually to be less agile than the 450.
For scale flying I would suggest the 500

If going to consider the 600 for scale then I suppose the flasher would make some sense on cost grounds..
If it's a choice between 450 and 500 then I'd say the 500 fbl is my best all rounder for economy, stability and orientation practice - not too shabby at autos either. I fly mine with clone 'disposable' parts to keep crash costs down - low stress sky-bashing <vbg>PGK
