    T-Rex 700 Turbine First Runs

    So after the success of the Synergy T9, my mate Mick (the owner) wants to do something a little more extreme. We've been gathering bits and pieces for it for the past few months, and today we fired the engine for the first time. This was purely a mechanical test to ensure there was no problems before the final fastner lock down and tidy up. It ran like a dream, and in fact started much easier than the one in the N9 did first off, but I guess we have the benefit of a lot more knowledge about the wren engine and ECU.

          dude, sorry to burst your bubble, but she is never gona fly with those plastic balls, your really should invest in some blades, but then again, what do i know, i cant even fly my msr propperly.

            The aim is to make this one as light and nimble as possible, which means HV servos, no regulator, V-bar with sbus rx, single fuel tank with header, fbl head, it should be fun

              That is a very tidy set up, love the sound of the turbine too! looking forward to seeing a flight video.
