  • My mates Trex 700 before and after!

    Trex 700 Before

    Trex 700 After

He was saying it was a squeeze to get in the Toyota Yaris on the way to the field but no complaints on the way home as it fitted a treat in the glove box!

Yeah thanks for sharing my misfortune, lol. Only wish I caught it on video. This is definately by best(worst) crash to date. If only it was an electric 700 as it was the muffler that caught the post.

Remove the dented and broken bits and get a list into intensive care (Fast Lads) all will be better again!! On the plus side like the canopy 'before' pic not so much the 'after' pic where was the canopy from?

                        Ouch.
Looks like the muffler hit hard, but it's more aerodynamic now

There are a few cheap second hand airframes forsale might be worth picking up a full kit build up some spares at the same time. Real shame...looked nice.

http://www.rcheliaddict.co.uk/sale/5...-upgrades.html as an example its now sold but sure there will be a few knocking around.

Bad day for me today as well, my trex 600 just flew straight to top of a 30ft tree. My bro had to claim 20ft up and shake it out, the first thing i did was kill the engine as soon as i here this clack.
Dont look as bad as your mates but the parts list are as follows
                              1 main blades
                              2 rear blades
                              3 fly bar
                              4 pitch fork rear
                              5 rear shaft
                              6 ball links
                              7 boom with servo link

I think thats the lot, just hope it's ok and no hiden damage after i get the new bits

I was doing a nice big circle, and dint think i was that close to the trees. Never mind was going to happen some time, just glad i'm on nights tom. Checked fast lads web site and all is in stock, so will be fixed tom ready for another day.

could have been worse if i hit the deck
