I was doing some simple turns, i was going left a few times and then right. I messed up big time, mi bro said from where he was stud it looked like i flew directly into it right at the top of the dam thing as well.

Did an inspection of the parts needed sunday, and went to fast lads monday as i was on nights so plenty of time. I'm fitting new parts to the tail, and mi bro is fitting new main shaft (bought this as it dropped 30ft from the tree it landed on it's head) turns out the main shaft was ok. But mi bro found out the front tail gears to have 2 teath missing, so ordered via the web.

1 x Metal Tail Pitch Assembly
1 x New Carbon Fiber Tail Blade
    1 x 600 Linkage Rod(A)
    1 x 600D PRO Carbon Fiber Blades
1 x Torque Tube Rear Drive Gear Set
    1 x Ball Links
    1 x Tail Boom

Plus while i was there i got new main shaft, new button, srews, glues, loctite, then orderd via the web below.

1 x Torque Tube Front Drive Gear Set
    1 x Pronatur Triflow Grease 50g
    1 x 2 Part - EPOXY PUTTY STICK

Prob woundering why no flybar or skids, well i already had these, so dint bother.

Thing is i have not been on the sim since i put my tx up for sale on ebay, when i was at fast lads i ask for a cable from dongle to DX7. You no what he said right?? yep you don't need one as the DX7 is a standard fitment 3.5mm jack, what a ---- i am.
So had to spend a good half hr setting it all up.

Any ways bored you all enough now

Edit: I now see Big-t has already suggested this, Doh!

Even though the kids are now a lot older, I still pickup the odd pack of Tesco (other brands are available) Baby Wipes for cleaning the oil and gunk from Helicopters and Planes.

Works for me and others in my club.
