  • T-rex nitro Rev-lock Sensor mount

    Guys,

The 600N mount for the revlok is well.. akward is the polite word

But I think I have it sused....

I took a Rev-lock 30 size mount cut it down...

    and in the helicopter frame.

I don't think it will conflict with anything esle well secured by 2 self tapping screws and used just a drop of super glue to make sure they don't come loose.

Looks ok Disc, how rigid do you think that air duct is?
Only worry I would have is it might not have enough rigidity & shake the sensor till it malfunctions. As with all mods you wont find out till you have been flying it for a few times. Hope it works tho you might be on to a winner there.

It will be a pain when you need to remove the engine as you need to disconnect the sensor lead form the governor and feed it out with the engine.

I hope it works OK though

Beware of the flying magnets on the standard fan, I ordered one of those G-force fan units.

You may have a problem sliding the fan shroud and engine out with that stuck on top though,,you would need to remove baseplate and skids first because with the skids in situ its a bugger as it stands without that sticking out from the top...

Okay I had to put a washer under the mount to give better clearence. It seems to be found and the servo fits as well.

Also done some work on the T-rex

It should just come out with the fan case as long as I remeber to discount it from the rev-lock
