Dumb 700 question

Hi

I have changed pinion size on my 700, but how do you adjust the main gear / pinion gap? it all looks fixed.

If its nitro it is fixed ?

Its actually gasser, but the clutch mounting / pinion etc is the same.

I remember one nitro conversion that required a different frame, depending on the pinion. I'd look for this on the manufacturer's webshop.

You would have to slot the frames where the clutch stack and engine mounts attach. There was a lot about this when the 700 first came out and was stripping main gears.

Yeah, fixed gear mesh on a nitro. Is there any scope to fit shims between the engine and its mount to open up the gap a bit?

there was somin wrong wiv your microheli one, my dads is still running fine, touch wood,fit a proper pinion gareth
