  • Trex 600 E v N

I was doing some comparison today between the electric and nitro Trex 600 and I find that my mates electric version with no Cyclock and aileron interaction tracks a lot better than my Nitro version with the Cyclock and all interaction dialed out. I does not have the same power as mine as he is using the L motor but is a lot more stable & straighter in elevator flips and generally tracks better than my Nitro one.

I would like to hear form people that have flown both the electric and nitro version to see if they think they both fly the same bar power and duration.

I am finding the Trex 600 Nitro is just as good as my Nutz Spec Raptor, I prefer the pitch response out of my Raptor and today I dialed the T6N up to +/-14 to get a better response form the pitch, still not as sensitive as the Raptor so I may play with the curves. Both the T6N a NS Raptor have there good points and IMO there is no better out the 2.

Very interesting post,,forgetting the fact that the E has more power and shorter duration i think the E flies better

It certainly seems more precise and is of course smoother,i have the same servos in both on cyclic (6965`s)

My E flips faster than the N with the same setup on travel

The E was crsiper once i fitted tha red Raptor dampers instead of the supplied black ones

My N had its first flights with the black dampers but i fitted the PTFE ones and i am finding it flips slower now

Also it seems to be hammering the plastic bladegrips as the damping is so stiff i have noticed play developing between the bearings and the plastic of the grips

I am going to fit the Red raptor dampers to the N and see what they are like

I reckon it needs a bit more damping than the PTFE ones but not as much as the black Align dampers give

I flew nearly a gallon on the 'N' and 3 packs on the 'E' on Sunday. the most noticable difference was the nitro one was covered in crap afterwards .... oh and the noise.

Can't really comment on power at the moment as I have a naff pipe and only running 20% but they feel similar for the first few minutes, then the niro takes over, but I am also running a MultiGov on the electric which helps alot.

As for cyclic, they feel pretty similar to me, using V-paddles on the N and Aligns carbon paddles on the E, the nitro has more pesence so easier for some things.

IMO the nitro will out perfome the electric once I have it all set up right - but then the V2 beats both of them
      Clones are bad

      .... that includes Align ones
