  • when replace cluch liner

    Hi,
I recently stripped down my 600 after a "minor" crash and wondering if I should change the liner too.
I went thru 10Lt of optifuel 20 and had 2 HOT starts when the engine went 100% for few secs (and I was hoding the blades) till I realized that I was on idle up!!!!!!!
to my eyes the liner looks still ok
have a look at the pics and tell me what you think
    Thanks for the feedbacks

looks ok mate, if you have a spare liner on the bench, it may be worth changing it why the engine is out just to save you time in the long run

As long as it engages before the motor gets going too fast its OK.
If the clutch doesn't grip until the motor is going rather fast, then the clutch will be opening up too far and it will eventualy crack.

Mate.. It looks fine to me, I wouldnt bother unless its slipping.. What I'm more worried about, is the cable ties clamping down on the servo/gov wires, they will soon ..wear through so use some mesh/loom tape/fuel tubing to protect them wires!
