  • KDE Direct upgrades

After fitting KDE Direct main bering blocks and ali ele tray to
my 700n Very nice upgrades, from fastlad, no more ****'d out main bearings
no matter how hard you stick it! even shakey heli that'l kill
    your mains!
so decided to go for a set on my 600n as the heli is relitively smaller
than the 600 there is obviously less clearance between the block and
the ele lever,on these upgrades i have found that thay are top and bottom (no marks seen) take it from me thay are! so once in the correct way a very small ferther mod is requierd, remove about .5mm from bottom corner of the top block 45degrees'ish to give clearance for the ele lever ball end. bottom ones got plenty of clearance
    no alteration needed
basicly a carefull dab with the trusty Dremel and sorted.
kit comes supplyd with good quality bearigs encluding some tasty
thrust berings nice bit of functional bling
GAUI X7 Beast X V3 (a nice bit of fish!)
    Trex600n Fbl ys56sr BeastX V3
    Trex500Fbl AR7200BX
Trex500 Apache x4bld BeastX. Trex 600E HIND mil x5bld BeastX
    DX7se

Just a quick note to say that the KDE bearings are not a known brand, and failed on my 700 in less than 25 flights! I took them out and poped the shields off, and they were shot inside. I have since installed SKF bearings, and straight away no side play, and 80 odd flights later, they are as good as new.
The KDE bearings are not marked in any way as to the manufacture, so my local bearing supplyer guess they are made in China.

I belive KDE make the blocks, the bearings, are i think prety
good quality , you could put your own favorate type in the blocks
should you so wish, i was under the impresion that radial bearings
are not best suited in side loaded use 'thrust'.

I have them on my 500 also.
Over 100 flights and not a problem, But like all bearings, they need lubrication, I give a single drop of good quality bearing oil after every days flying, Works for me, If they did ever go then I would fit SKF, But good quality bearing still need a drop of oil!
