OS55 & Align 55 any difference

As the tittle says is it true the Align is the same and is produced by OS with the Align stamp on it?
I only ask as it is about £20 cheaper.

As far as I could tell they were exactly the same engine.

Yes it is a OS, I was told this when I was in Midland Helicopters buying my last T rex 600, I was going to get a OS55 but I got told the Align 55 is the same engine just stamped as Align, I was also informed that customers going in for OS parts have walked out with Align parts just because they are one and the same.

...I would get OS due to having a slight* chance of warranty/backup, you wont get any from Aligns distributor.

*I do mean very slight chance of getting support from Ripmax!
