Just replaced my autorotation gear as well as a few other parts after touching the tail on a bit of a heavy landing.
I am noticing loads of vertical play between this gear and the main gear.
The main gear also nearly touches the top of lower tail gear and they do not align that well.
It is as if there is all of a sudden a shim missing from between the gears but obviously that's not it.
I`ve dismantled the hub assembly/bearing to take a look but can`t see where this play is coming from.
It could be something's slipped or worn but I don't really know what.
Anyone any advice other than pay about £50 for a whole new assembly?
