  • 600/OS55 Cutting Inverted

As the title suggests, anyone any ideas why the engine would cut whilst inverted. It's done it 3 times now, once it coughed and I got it back upright and the engine kicked in, the next 2 times were both inverted and cut, back upright and got it down. I've changed the clunks and I've checked the fuel lines/swopped them, checked the tank for leaks. There are none. The 3rd time I was pushing out of an inverted pass down the flightline into an outside loop and it cut as I started pushing up, the 2nd was inverted towards me, rolled out and auto'd it.

Not sure what to try next.

Have you held the heli upside down and checked what the clunk does?

Is it random anytime during a tank?

It seems to be fine, I'll replace it anyway. I'm running the same combo as Pete with the highflow pipe, have you had any odd misfires so to speak Pete

i have seen a problem with the 600 before where the fuel gets down to the top of the rubber on the clunk grommet and it misfires
