Ive watched some of his other videos and I have to say him and his mate are very imature and it is very worrying people like this are playing around with rc helicopters it can only end in bringing our fine hobby into disrepute

Not suprising though, this side of the aeromodeling hobby seems to have attracted a lot of people over the last five or six years that have a mentality to r/c helis' that is more common to the r/c car hobby (which they may well have come from) that its treated very lightly, that it has more in common with a kids toy than a flying lawn mower.

Sorry to say it, but going into the local model shop and listening to the average car customer makes me shudder if they ever got hold of a helicopter or even a plane, not saying all are like it at all, some are normal and not retarded, but a lot seem to have been dropped as a child.

Part of the problem is how easy it has become to access the hobby now, cheap entry level models that would have been better than competition class models 10 years ago, and heading hold gyros, that do make this hobby so much easier than it used to be, it takes far less time and dedication now than when the best you could hope for was a gyro with a flywheel, and this kept those who are prone to instant gratification out of the hobby, which IMO was a good thing.
