This may sound like a strange question but if anyone with a flybarred 700 has a free moment can you tell me roughly how much clearance there is between the flybar and the canopy or the boom if you tilt the flybar down as far as it will go.
I am fitting a Trex 700 head to a Raptor 90 and it fits straight on, the linkage matches up pretty close etc. But today I just realised that when the flybar is tilted all the way it comes very close to the boom (and pretty close to the canopy as well). I know this would probably never happen in flight and maybe it's not a concern but I'm curious what the clearances are on the 700 airframe.
I am thinking one possibility is that the Align main shaft has a bit at the top that may limit the travel of the flybar, so this one may be tilting more than it should. Or the 700 airframe dimensions just allow more clearance.
