  • Suggested headspeed ???

What would you guys suggest as good starting point headspeeds for a 600n Sport - carbon blades, OS50 Hyper/CY muffler/20% fuel ???

Normal, Idle up 1 and Idle up 2??

Am I right in thinking that the standard gear ratio for this model is 8.5-1 ?

    in advance.

Yep, the gear ratio is indeed 8.5:1.

    Suggested headspeeds are:

1750 - 1800 General plopping around in NORMAL
1850 - 1950 Basic aeros and inverted in IDLE UP
    2050 - 2150 3D and advanced stuff IDLE UP

Stand by for others to chip in too on this LOL

          1600/1950/2100.

The reason for 1600 is you know you are not in idle up as it will wobble and vibrate due to the 600's dampning. This ensures you dont accidently flip it inverted or fly around without engaging idle up 1.

Unless a beginner just hovering its not a good idea not to select idle up.
