You have to forget all about flybars when setting up for FBL. The reason for the setup is to match the TX resolution to the control box. In flight the Gyros only allow the programmed rotationial speed set in the Tx so limiting the travel on the control surface.
Assuming you have 2 different headspeeds set, the model will rotate at the same speed whether its 1500 or 2200. The FBL unit will therefore add/remove pitch at the different Headspeeds to maintain the set rotation speed.
Mmmm..also lets say the 'smart' software within the FBL unit is programmed such that it will not exceed 'X' amount of Pitch to help prevent blade stalling.
