DX8 Telemetry

Hi has anybody managed to get the Align HE50H22 Governor Sensor working through the tm1000 to show the RPM on a DX8?

I have installed a seperate one of these on my Trex600N but is does not want to show the RPM. The voltage and Temp show fine.

Obviously you have the sensor mounted to sense the clutchbell yes ? And you have set the gear ratio on the radio ?

hey am running the rpm sensor but i never set the ratio in the radio and i have no problems have u set urs and is there a difference

Well how would the radio know what head speed your running as it's not geared 1-1 :0) yours must be telling you your engine rpm !! ;0)

Are you saying you can show head speed rather than engine rpm, how do you do that in the transmitter?, a Trex 600 is 8.5 :1

Mine shows engine rpm with no problem

It's in the telemetry settings like I have said I use the align sensor as I have an 7100r revlimiter and I don't really have room for 2 crank sensors
so mine readings are from the clutchbell !!:0)

Mines set to 1:1 at the moment, it should be triggered by a magnet on the fan housing.

Could be a problem with the sensor.

Is there an easy way to test?

so 8.02:1 is wrong are you saying it should be 8.20:1 ? then as i have taco'd my head and it was spot on ???????

just reloaded my 700 settings from the card and it would seem it was 8.20:1
