  • TREX 700 F3C landing gear

Anybody tried to fit the F3C landing gear to a 700 nitro? The F3C will make the helicopters stance lower, I think it would look good what do you think?

If they are anything like the standard 700e/550 landing gear they will not be as strong as the 700 nitro landing gear. I managed to snap my 550 landing gear (which is the same as the 700e) on a landing that really was not that heavy. On my 700e, I bought a pair of the 700 nitro langing gear skids and used them from the start as they are thicker.

Won't the F3C skids also mean that it is easier to damage the tail blades as there is overall less ground clearance?

anyway the trex 700e weighs in at 4700g ish depending on batts and the 700n is around that with a full tank but is much lighter upon finishing flight so you would really have to think they would be ok being designed to take more weight !!
