Exessive vibration on my 600le spooling up and down?!?!

Hi guys ive just rencently got my trex 600le flying again, and after a few flights i have noticed the heli is vibrating MORE than usual when it is spooling up and down!! Has anyone experienced this or does anyone no how to cure this! Any advice or suggestions or help is well appriciated thanks!!

Probably blades out of balance, but check the head, is the feathering shaft sat in the centre (ie have you got an extra washer on one side or something)


Other than that,

Check flybar paddles
Check Main Shaft
Tail Blade Balance
Nervous pilot

Thanks MSlater but thts all been checked!! And the vibes are only at a certian rpm in flight very slow head speed! I read in a rotrworld mag today and a guy flying his 700le has exactly the same prob!!
The vibes are not at flying rpm only wen it is spooling up and down on the ground!

Had this in the past if my blade holders were at different tension on each holder.

sounds like either dry sticky head dampers or blade grips are too tight

Hi guys thanks 4 ur help i took the head appart and regreased the dampers yesterday hopefully be able to test it on sunday !!! Thanks guys ur helping alot!!!

I would of said blade grips to tight,but knowing Chris,i doubt they are to tight.

Sure my two nitros vibrate a little while spooling but are fine in flight so i just dont care

Ok nick well u might wanna take tht back coz i tighted them up as much as i could!!!! But like u said it doesnt affect flight peformane!!! Yer if weather is good seeya up the field sunday im on phoenix now!!!

Maybe your blade grips are too tight

But then it shouldnt do it spooling down as blades will be in the perfect position????

NO I ment the blade grips are tightened up to the feathering spindle! Not the blades tightened up in the grips! Is tht wot u ment?? The blades tightened up??

I had this with one of my 600's in the end I changed the main shaft and all is well.
