I was amazed that you were still 3D'ing the bloody thing then saying after something along the lines " I thought it did not feel right"

              Exactly, no big deal!!

Hi Alec, If you want to reduce breaking the Align Flybars use the originial 400mm one and not the 440mm. The 440mm as it is longer than most others in this class of helicopter and very prone to snapping due to this extra leverage.

A lot also depends on your choice of paddles and the way you fly. Aggressive paddles, normally the choice of a 3D pilot twist the flybar more. To achieve this flight quality they are not only lighter but the C&G is aft and the leading edge profile is sharper.
In flight they act in a similiar way to an aircraft wing does. The sharper the section and more rearward C&G the more unstable they become causing them to pitch up. In a paddle it just twists the flybar harder accentuating the control throw.

The killer move for me is continuous Piro Tic-Tocs as the Cyclic/and Collective are acting simultanously. Just the nature of the beast I'm afraid

This thread is so daft I thought I'd solve your fly bar problems.

These will not snap - available at most jewson sites, some what compromises the power to weight ratio but should stop crashes.

No they come like this - you need to fill them with cement before mounting.
