I haven't had this much fun since I last had a full blown "discussion" with Mark Ryder, and he was about as responsive to an argument as Alec is. And he was far, far better with the insults. (he did however have the excuse of being a total fruitcake, which I don't think is true of Alec)
          Janek

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

Dumb thumb it, why are you resorting to name calling. At the end of the day it's his opinion and I think it's a bit immature of you to not respond in a sensible manor.

damn i missed out on a proper flame fight :-(

I broke a number of flybars on my knights and raptors, using the engineering stuff i learnt at college it was obvious from looking at the break that it was down to work hardening.

At the end of the we are running highly tuned mechanics close to the limit of their functionality and so we get failures and fairly fast wear and fatigue rates.

what it comes down to is crash more, replace and inspect more often and the chances of this sort of thing happening drastically reduces!

Some people would be happy for a flybar to break due to fatigue.
So many flybar's are replaced because they are bent after a crash and never got to the point of fatigue failure.

LOL at the title. Don't forget, tits can be useful, a Janek on the other hand!

If I started a bun fight, I wouldn't expect much quarter if my perspective was 'shall we say' twoddle.
I'm not mates with Alec, just know him from this forum & bought X1 item off him, so I'm not flaming (don't really think I understand what this actually means) anyway.

In my view, if you start a shooting match, do be prepared for incoming flak from the other direction, & yes, this is so bonkers it's funny, that's laughing at you rather than with you.

P.S Janek, I'm not going to really start shooting at you. I didn't even mean me. Just thought I'd clear that one up
