600LE setup on Futuba TX

Anyone using Futaba T7C on thier 600le that I could get a base line of settings from?

Just got an LE, but it was setup on Spektrum, so after Radio setup advice. Cheers !

I don't think anyone will really be able to give you actual settings because it will always be different depending on your servos, the exact length of your linkages, the type of servo horns you have etc etc. There's just too many variables. You should watch some of the setup videos over on Helifreak. They'll give you a good idea of how to do it. Otherwise, I can give you a hand down at Kempton tomorrow or maybe Wednesday but it's probably not looking too good on the weather front!

I have a basic 600LE setup on my DX7 but I suppose that doesn't do you any more good than Derek's settings.

It should be fairly similar in approach as your Trex 450 in that you'll choose the 120 degree swash and may need to play with the + / - values in the swash mix and / or servo reverse until it all moves correctly. After that the rest is just like the Raptor pretty much.

That should more or less get you there although most of this is already done because the heli is already built.

Thanks both, though I really need some basic on the settings for the Futaba setup, remember the heli is setup fine and flown on the spektrum, just got to find and work out the futaba equivilants !

I've got mine setup as follows

Swash in HR3 mode
AFR is set to 60% on Aile elev and pitch
-20% expo on each surface

What else did you need? I can check channels and reverse settings if you need those?

I'm using futaba servos with the standard arms the spacing between the links is such that the control rods are parallel.

It does help thanks hduk, I too have futaba servo's, so reverse settings will be good as would anything else. I have aslo a rev limitier and need to know where that goes in the 617 rx, and any associated TX settings for it ! Cheers !

I've got a 600LE OS50 now flying on f8 but was on the 7c a couple of months ago. It still has the program intact.

Bearing in mind the settings may not match your mechanics what are you short of now, I have no idea on the rev limiter BTW.

Plan to mess around tomorrow am now as it looks like the weather will not allow me to fly the raptor, but have followed the two finless ccpm setup on the radio so far and will see what that gives me on the 600 and let you know what if doesen't look right! Cheers all.

Reverse settings Aile reversed (CH1)
Throttle reversed (CH3)
Rudder reversed (CH4)
Pitch is in CH6
Governor is in CH7
Gyro gain in CH5

End points all 100
Dual rates all 100

On the AFR Aile is negative as is elevator, pitch is positive.

And that proves the point of what was posted earlier, I have the same model but the end points are not at 100 on some servos and I don't have negative Aileron, Pitch is positive but at 57%

Just goes to show how you can set them up differently
