Here's my hacked 600n head - unflown yet - fitting the BeastX tonight.
I decided to go with the method that uses the swash drive as the grip control - we'll see if it lasts or the arms twist or something.
Compared to the guy on helifreak who develped this I just drilled and filed one end of the arm to fit the bush (made from trex450v1 feathering shaft), and then fitted a raptor ball link on an m2 screw directly to the other end of the arm (the helifeak guy filed and drilled that end out m3 to fit the std trex ball).
As its shown none of the liks have even been adjusted in length and it looks about right.
If this isn't working I can fit 700 long links direct to the swash with the grips flipped but I'd fit short balls to the swash to cut the cyclic movement a little.
There is quitre a lot of positive delta with trailing grips - but the dampers are the hardest KBDD - we'll see how it goes with the fairly lively blades I've got.
I cld grip flip this to make the delta offset stabilising - what do you reckon?
