R50L, how did you fix your magnet (superdoo or poxy?)
I have just epoxied my magnet in and made a standoff for the sensor for my RL20 out if a peace of carbon, I then used some thin super glue on the stand off and senor and cable tied it to be on the safe side. Your right about getting the lump in and out................Raptor 50 V3 Titan

I used epoxy but i never sanded the fan to give it a good key,,ive rarely had an issue with magnets but in the crap weather now it gives me a job to do
Gonna fit a header tank to mine,if you remove the rear left hand side lower bearing support block nut and fit a plastic Raptor type spacer of about 22mm you can mount the header tank right alongside the main tank and its perfect, canopy does not need trimming and height is spot on..
I got the idea from here
http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t348643p1/
Mine had a couple more flights yesterday afternoon at my other club and it flies very nicely,,good climb rate and big loops but on a lowish fuel level the engine nearly quit at the top of the loop hence the header...
looking forward to putting more flights on it

Add the cost of your Raptor up
My engine/pipe and servos and gyro and blades were removed from my Knight Sport to kit this out
The only new bit is the heli and the regulated power system
The T Rex kit is very well priced against the Raptor and is cheaper than the SE versionLast edited by ChrisB; 27-05-2007, 10:16 AM.

Raptor with all electrics (GY401, all servos, JR RX), OS50Hyper, in brand new condition, RX battery.. £450.
OK, it's used, but... all the guys at the club say it hasn't been flown.
Am going to get a DX7, so add £55 for the RX..
£510... I can live with that (But my wife can't). I now know that when she said 'FINE! Get what ever the F++K you want', isn't actually mean what she means...
But, the 600N does look sweet! And Align prices for repairs seem pretty strong! But as a novice... I think I'm OK for now with my Rappy... I think... I hope...

The Knight Sport has gone right up in my good books now,,i reduced my fleet from 5 nitros to 2 due to my electrics and didnt want a third Nitro when i got the 600N hence stripping a Sport
The idea was originally to sell both the Sports and get another 600N belt version but im not so sure now,at least in the short term
My Sports were always a good machine overall but they were faulty from new,,Compass seem to have finally admitted that the one ways supplied were crap and Climb out having already replaced my clutch ones have now kindly supplied me with 2 uprated Main gear one way bearings and a harder sleeve for it,this should eliminate the constant grating and locking my supplied ones both did...
Adding to this,,last weekend my one flyable Sport flew as good as its ever done and i was loving it untli the counter gear stripped and i lost tail drive,,a non driven tail auto should have been a doddle but it was too low and coming out of a sideways loop when it failed
I did throttle hold it but it hit the ground kinda hard,to be honest the damage is limited to boom,1 frame ,servo tray and flybar cradle but seeing as i dont want a massive stock of models i have decided to strip it down for spares and kit out the one remaining good airframe once having removed a frame from that and fitted all new good quality bearings
I dont like the Knight 3d at all, nothing against the model, just my personal view but i am seriously torn between the Sport and the 600N
The Align spares are cheap enough except for those frames
,,the Sport is also cheap to repair and easy to work on so i am planning to keep the Sport flying for a considerable time,,i may even be tempted to buy another one at a later date
