I've had one on my 700 running an OS91HZ-PS, and its been fine (not caused any problem), though to be honest the motor has been pretty much spot on since day one, no issues any other motor wouldn't have had, carbsmart or not.

Its not really clear if its made any improvement, but it definately hasn't caused any problems.

I've got one on my Raptor 50, but not my 700 with a OS 91 HZ PS, so I'd like to hear a bit more about the installation that ROTORHEAD has put it. Where did you fit the sensor?, what temp setting are you running? Any tips above and beyond the usual installation?

I'll try to get a picture of it and upload it, but there really isnt much too it, the sensor is mounted between the middle set of fins on the top of the head of the motor (backplate side rather than carb side), with the thermocouple as close to the glow plug (and thus the cylinder)

Its mounted so that the wires come out towards the back of the motor, then go up to the carbsmart.

I found that when installing it it was best to squeeze as much silicone into the gap between the fins you want the sensor between, and then push the sensor as deep between them as you can, then add more silicone over the top and smoothe it over, this should let you get the best heat transfer between the head and the sensor as possible, and try to not get any air bubbles in there.

As for temp, initially I set it to 100C, then went up to 110C, so far no problems.

I should also mention that the ammount of throw I used was enough to account for about 2-3 clicks of movement on a needle valve not fitted with a carbsmart, I wont go further than that as for one thing its not likely to need to move very far on a well setup engine anyway, and it reduces the likelyhood of accidentally going too lean and cooking a motor.
