  • 600 NSP clutch gap

I have just fitted a QUK clutch to my new 600 NSP. Does anyone know what the optimal clutch shoe to liner gap is? If I need to replace the liner with a thicker 700 liner I would rather do it now than have to strip the heli down again.

Measure the clutch on the solid side and measure the clutch bell. You are looking for a .2mm (.008" ) gap.

I just measured the gap. Clutch is 41.20mm, Bell is 42.06mm giving a difference of 0.86mm. Divided that by two to show an all round gap of 0.43mm.
If my arithmetic is correct, using a 700 liner which is 1mm thick as opposed to the 600 liner which is 0.8 the best I could get the gap is 0.23mm. Should be good to go.
I could not find the Raptor 90 liner thickness, I assume it is 1mm so the 700 option is probably the best option.
