We found that the type of clunk line used
had a greater effect on amount of air
sucked up into the header.
If you use ordinary fuel pipe you cant
pick up all the fuel from the main tank
you need to use a thin walled clunk line.
When we swapped over to Hayes clunk line
we found every last drop of fuel was sucked
up from the main tank and no air in the header tank.
Sure the omi fuel magnet works to a point
but im reluctant to put my 700 in my attic with a full
tank of fuel.
