  • Canopy mounts.

I was thinking of using thumbscrew mounts for the canopy on my 600. Does anyone know how the Lynx offering compares to the QUK version?

I've not tried the Lynx ones but I had both Quick UK and RC Booya mounts on my old 600N and I thought the RC Booya ones were a bit better -quite a bit more sturdy and they also have a convenient place to hold the thumbscrews when you remove the canopy.

Just thought I'd add that the current RC Booya mounts are different to the ones I had so I can't comment on the current range. The Quick UK's were still very good anyway. These are the ones I had:

I've got the lynx ones, not bad, very well made and good Quality... make sure you screw them in tite!
I left the hobby 3 years ago and discovered Women.

        I wish I never left.

Do you mean the thumbscrews or the parts that attach to the frame?

Just thinking about it, one benefit of the quick UK mounts is that they come with custom rubber grommets that are a LOT more durable than the stock ones and will last a lot longer (as far as I remember, mine didn't looked even slightly worn when I sold my 600).
