You managed to get a dsx9 in the end
Finally did some loops and half cuban's on sat with the velo, so much easyer then the protos. Your going to be nuts with the 700 Alex

Yey- nice one m8- you were so ready for it. I need to be "sensible" with the 700- I can afford repair bills, but not to be quite so free on the sticks as I am with the 500 I also need to remember it is a bloody dangerous bit of kit, so I will be in the control zone.

I'm getting the LE Combo Mart- with the electronics- I am toying with getting a Quark or DS760- not sure which would be best for the 700?

          Very excited

As chris says just stay with the standard one, Phils is good and the spartan or quark is not needed yet

My wife won't appreciate mine either - never mentioned that I bought it. I'm gonna try to secrete it about my person when I go home tonight.

A man after my own heart! I know that you can take great pics Martin, so perhaps you could take one of you and your "secreted" heli - should be good for a laugh eh!

Thank God I own a warehouse so that I can store (hide) my indulgences! One day she will find out and then I'll be living in the warehouse as well.....

                    Cheers,

Yippeeeee- all the boxes have arrived for the 700 build

I have Finless Bob imprinted in my brain

DON'T FORGET THE THREAD LOCK and DON'T MAKE A GOBBY MESS

and BEAR WITH, BEAR WITH etc

I have my acetone and cotton buds, various extras and am ready to build.

Shame the transmitter has not arrived yet- I'm a bit peed off to be honest- Auction won on Monday, paid for same day, still not marked as posted and the seller say he works "funny shifts"- I have jsut paid him £400, so feel he could make a bit of effort to get it posted

Oh dear Alex, and I recently sold my DSX9 - good as new, only 8 or 9 months old for only £290. How come £400 - did you get other stuff also or was that a typo, when they are £350 new from Inwoods. (I could collect one and bring it down - I got 2 weeks off from tomorrow....!)

It is a brand new boxed DSX9 with receiver and servos too- the cheapest Inwoods deal was £430 for the Tx and Rx. More importantly there are none in the country until the end of the month as I did give Inwoods a call. Shame about yours though - never mind.

Nice to hear from you Edmund- hope you are well Weather is looking good so sounds like you may get some nice flying in.

Hoping to get in some big and small flying sorted. First trip is to Weston Park Saturday... really looking forward to it! My Tx included Ali Case and backlight LCD. I got some new JR 9 Channel RX's for £80 each. In fact I seem to have enought spare kit to open my own shop!
