but if the sensor or governor fails when you are inverted.. the throttle falls back to your throttle curves, if this is set as the normal mode then your heli falls out of the sky.. even futaba handsets should have a v curve for the idle up modes so that you retain throttle whilst inverted should the governor/sensor fail. anyone setting idle up on a linear curve is just asking to buy shares in their LHS..

With "normal curves" I meant regular curves, as if the heli is set up for flying without governor. And not normal mode! That would be a bad idea with and without governor. In other words, a V-curve.
