Hello,
Just had a fantastic day flying, albeit ending in a failed auto when I ran out of fuel mid flight (again!).
The near perfect conditions lended themselves to my very aggressive flying, pushing the le to, what seemed to me at least, very fast speeds. I noticed that when the LE was moving very fast, probably 60MPH+, and I slightly pulled back on the cylic, it almost instantaneously pulled into vertical.
Why is this? It seemed extremely responsive, much more than when when I do a stationary loop/roll. It is like it hit a brick wall.
I am not complaining because it felt, and looked, great, but I cannot understand why it behaved like this. Normally, you would expect the response to be slower, the faster you are travelling, no?
What is going on???
Cheers,
Andrew
