  • 700LE and Fastlad bolts

I am just setting up my head on the 700LE and the rear cyclic bellcranks foul on the fastlad washers and bolts.

What has everybody else that has used these bolts done? just put the align ones back in?

    TIA

Not matching is better than the servo rod fouling the bolt and crashing your heli.

It is a fact you have to use the standard Align bolts in the rear holes.

I don't loctite mine so the buggers come out easier when needed.

Not as written in the book but better when they need removing.

I also used the normal ones in that location. I did see someone who dremeled the bolt heads so that they were shallow enough not to foul the bellcrank but I'd say that would make it very easy to strip the bolts when unscrewing them, thus defeating the point of changing the bolts in the first place!

I used the Lynx bolts. No such problem with them.
