Wahey!
Yeah it's great to get new things, especially when they just turn up at the door and you get to unwrap them like that.
My two favourite 'new heli' memories are when I got the Raptor 90 (via a BMFA ad) because I was expecting something more cheap and cheerful and well used and what arrived was a superbly packed, back into the original box, almost new looking beautiful heli. I have procrastinated something terrible on putting servos/radio gear in it but I am inspired now
The most recent was the Robbe Futura SE I got in December and once again I was expecting something a bit more worn and I went out to Reading to collect it and was just so thrilled with the condition and all the spares that came with it etc.
Both different to getting something brand new but equally, if not more, satisfying because of being better than I expected.Last edited by trillian; 06-05-2010, 11:33 PM.Kasama, Minicopter, Henseleit, JR, Shape, Beam

Right, I'm in two minds;
- go flying
- start the 700 build
I could, of course, do both. After all it is Father's Day and I am a father.
Tis a bit blustery this way so I'm inclined to commence the build...

Sounds like my decision is made - off to view the Finless vids...

I popped into Inwoods yesterday whilst in that part of the world but, alas, they had no stock of anything I needed. Either that or it was at the show.

I had the same quandry at 12:30 but with only 1.5 hours of flying left I gave it a miss... regretting that decision now thoughOriginally posted by Mart61 View PostRight, I'm in two minds;

Spent the morning with the kids while the wife slept... something wrong in this statement what with it being fathers day... LOL
I could of course pop up to Chobham common for a fly of a plank (1st time in 1.5 years I think!) but I dont have a spare FASST Rx to put in a plank as they are all still on 35MHz and the Tx pack will be flat in the 9C I suspect...Rob
