Ok all finished and ready to test fly, the fuz is well made and comes with all parts to finish it off but some parts are really had to fit and to get to but apart from that a great looking heli and cant wait to fly her

Also as you can see the elev servo has to be moved within the frames with the spacers provided

      Looks great Steve.

Been flying a MD530 (Thunder Tiger fuz) on a 600 electric for a couple of years.

A word of advice if you haven't flown her yet be conservative on the headspeed when you first start flying. Both the Align and Thunder Tiger fuzs have be known to be subject to extreme (and I mean extreme as watch it self tear itself apart within seconds) resonance problems at certain headspeeds. Almost lost mind when I changed my TX and forgot to reduce my idleup settings. Indeed Thunder Tiger warn you to keep the headspeed low in their instructions.

Typically my MD530 flies around 1600, with roll easily, loop but needs a lot of height to recover (probably due to the slower headspeed) and is really agile. As a bonus the plank guys at the club love it cos "it looks real"

Thanks for the heads up on that mate, I thought i would have had to run low head speed and cant wait to get your out and test her.
I had to cut my cyclics down loads as the flybar can so easy hit the top of the fuz off lol

Always wanted an scale heli so had a coin toss between an airwolf or this one, but Align dont make a airwolf for the 600 YET,

Il up date this thread with flying pics

Was running 1400 on my 500D with the conventional head. basically lowered the HS until the model started nodding and then raised it until the nodding stopped. I also lowered the D/R to 50%.

If your running it slow make sure you have the softer grey dampers in otherwise it will nodd

Bearing in mind I'm running the electric version the throttle curve is really turned down e.g. max 80%, mid point 65%, not the normal 80 to 100 range, with about 3-4 degrees pitch at mid point (I'm not a 3D-er!!). and the head speed kept within the 1500-1600 range.

I thought the esc would violently object since its not recommended to run them constantly in this lower range but its had dozens of flights and hasn't blown up yet (and its an Align esc !!) The alternative would have been to either change the gear ratio or change to a different rated motor,

The other thing I've concluded with mine is that it likes the blade grips tightened more than usual otherwise there's always a gentle vibration.

I just wish I hadn't come across these accidently the other day 600 scale bodies
