Considering a 700

I was going to get the 700LE instead of the 600LE, but because I was new to this and the members at MKheli advised me not to.. I got the 600..

I'm like you Martin.. Love buying Heli's & I want to complete the Align family but I actually wont get anything smaller than to 500?!.. So its just the 550 and 700 to go.. but I must say.. the N9, Srimok, Aurora are very nice aswell!!.. I Might just scrap the Align family idea and get 90's instead!! Even though I'm turd at flying!

The size difference is pretty noticeable.... so just fly further away

You will love a 90 size though..

Go for it you'll love it , i've got 3 X 700 two are flying a E & Nitro the other is back up in bit's so the other half don't see it.

Not yet mate. Just searching my body cavities for one large enough to hide a 700 in, such that I can get it into the house...

Nothing out on the market at the moment can compete with the 700 performance and running costs per pound full stop.
But i do say AT THE MOMENT.
This year will be interesting for the 90 size market, with lots of new players coming along, but my 700's will be staying in my fleet, just feel so comfortable to fly, and if you do ding them, you know you don't have to re morgage to fix

My advise would be so see one in real life before you buy.

I just ordered mine and was a bit shocked at how much bigger than my 600 it was. Now I have made space on the shelf, I am happy with my purchase, even thought I have not flown it yet!!

A couple of guys at my field have them so I'm familiar with their size. Quite where I'd put it I've no idea. My wife moans, not loudly I'll admit, about the space my current fleet takes.

On the deck they are not that much bigger but when they are the air, damn they have this feeling of superiority and hugeness

your flying site although big enough for 450,500s looked slightly small for a 700 to really thrash one about.

Having said that, our chair and a couple of my fellow club members fly their 700s their with no problems. When doing so we just don't allow any of the other flight pitches to be used if they are doing full-on 3D or even hard sports flying.

Ooooh, shiney new thing! And when you open the box you can savour that 'new helicopter' smell.

I have seen JSQ's 700LE at our field and it's very impressive looking. And as I have said before, I don't hate or love Align (and I do have one Align myself, a 450SE) but everyone seems to love the 700 so it does appear they really got that one right in general.
