700 e Battery size?

What make of battery are you guys going to use in the 700e? What head speed are you going to run in 3D mode?

Outrage or Thunder Tiger 3600mAh. Correct weight.

Headspeed around 1980rpm.

You can go a little higher in capacity if you want to, i would agree with Tim that around the 3600 mark or higher is where you should aim, i have seen guys running 2 x 5000mah in 700's. Personally i think that ould be heavy if i was getting one i'd probably go for a happy medium 4000-4600mah packs.
I would not touch an Outrage lipo though! far far to many people have had Outrage packs let them down badly prematurely to warrent spending that amount on them.
If your prime concern is not to keep the cost as low as possible and you appreciate quality lipos then you won't go wrong with Kokham packs, Climb-out carry good stocks of Kokham, after that Hyperion or kong powers both make excellent quality "big packs".

I have two trex 700e this is with the heli chris conversion all up weight is 11 pound 2onz with rhino 4900 12s packs, now useing the hyperion 4500 12s and the model weight is now 10pound 12 onz but even at the heavier weight it has a lot of go.flying time,s are about 7 to 8 mins of smooth style 3d.

Looking at the pictures the packs seem pretty tight in the frames,i assume there is ample room for different shape/size 6s packs to fit.
