  • 600LE...mmmmmmm!!!

I just got my new 600le today... thanks to Richard from RChelispares!

Before I even start to build, is there anything I need to change to make the heli better. I know on my 700LE I had to change the links to the quickuk/ rocket city type as i broke one leading to an expensive crash! I also changed the screws & fitted the washers from fast lads.

I'm assuming this need done on the 600 to????

    Cheers in advance

    Darryl

I never had any trouble with the links or the screws on my 600N -wasn't an LE but I don't imagine it being any different.

Both the links and the screws are good on the 600, also never had a problem with them, i agree with the 700 ones are not as good.
600 is a fantastic machine, love mine

I never had an issue with the screws on my 450 or 250 either. Perhaps it was just the 500?

My 450 pro ones seem ok, but saying that never needed to strip it apart much, the 500's are terrible, every time maintenace is needed you can be sure that the dremel or drill will have to come out.
The newer 250's are better than the early ones, they increased the hex size, and they are fine bar the odd one if you are heavy handed.
The 700 seems to be mixed, some are ok but some are rubbish, alway the ones that locate the bottom plate seem to go for me, had to drill out a few of them in the past trying to take an engine out

Although haven't really had a problem with mine, I would say if its a fresh build then pick up some screws instead of the Align ones. As you said they do tend to be made from Cheesium.
