    Impressive..

..even if that does look like a 700 next to a 600?

So is that a 700 E with a longer boom and 800mm blades?

Is it me, or does it look like the main blades are in danger of striking the tail blades? Looks like that boom needs to be a bit longer...

For me it just looks like a trex 700 with larger blades and longer boom, it even has the trex 700 shell on it!

Yeah it looks like a stretched 700, a bit like the Century Condor version of the Predator.

They talk about it being interesting as a nitro if 'there was an engine powerful enough', well a .90 engine is plenty powerful enough it would just need slightly steeper gearing / lower headspeed.

looking at the top bearing block of the "smaller" bird, it certainly looks it's a 700.
also, the elevator arm is at the back on the larger bird, so the swash is rotated 180deg and the bearing block is different to the 700. so it looks like a different heli altogether to be honest.

One or two of the photos going round recently of the 700E had the swash rotated 180 degrees.

The 700E does have the elevator arm at the back because the motor is in the top front.

Agree it looks just like a 700E with a longer boom next to a 700N.

                        Hi

Yep it's no secret, Align stated at their fun fly back in September last year that they were planning on a T Rex 800 for camera work, the 700E and 700 gasser (once they sort out a decent engine) plus the 550, think that's all that's in the current pipe line but as you all know they don't hang about.

                        Cheers

                            Hi

Personally I am not expecting big sales from a 800, it's a specailist model for a limited market but it would be easy enough for Align to just chuck a longer boom and blades on a 700E so I can see why they did it.

                            Cheers
