One way is to drill a small on the other side of the bell and then you can push the magent out. Another way is to find the temperature that will kill the magnet and heat it up with a small torch. And the final way and the most expensive is to start again with all new parts.
get some nail varnish remover off the missus, make sure it has acetone in it (some of the pink and fluffy ones don't now) and then soak a cotton bud in it and swab the magnet trying to get some underneath it and loosen it.
A quick tip:
Put the magnets together and then mark the outer two faces with tipex or similar that won't rub off easily. These marked faces you either show or don't show when sticking in the fan or bell. Either way the faces will be opposite poles.
and i am only assuming one is wrong because there are no marks. So to double check cound i just plug in the sensor and power to the g600 unit and see what happens to the light?
yes only one needs to be north facing the sensor, the other is used as a counter weight. The light will remain on but go off when the single magnet passes under the sensor it will go off.
same thing happened to me actually, just stuck them in with out checking when building and when I finally looked at setting the gov up weeks later I realised that they need to be installed in a certain way and though oh buggar I have to take the engine out now but I was very lucky.
