    Yes, the last rebuild I swapped from plastic to metal tail grips! I did check for locktight but didn't take out the screws cos they felt fine. As I said, I done 15 or more tanks of pretty hard flying since changing those grips.

      I know of another 90 heli with TT that says in big caps - NOT to use metal Tail Grips, as they create a vibe that eventually destroys the tail.... with so many Trex reports doing the same I wonder if this is a similar occurance.

      The plastic grips take some of the vibe out dampening it, cause the plastic is soft...

      Just a thought
