                  I thought the very same Jamie but on close inspection and a second look at the video the bolt was missing not broken.

                  Lack of Loctite by the look of it.

                        From what they are saying,the plastic lug that aligns the tail snapped off,when pauseing the vid it looks like the grip bolt snapped off when the tail hit terra firma

                          Hi, I was the pilot here!

                          The tail exploded in mid-flight! I hit thottle hold but she was piroing pretty fast! Managed to bleed off most the head speed and she went in as you see

                          Post mortem shows bolt on tail feathering shaft snapped clean off! The resulting vibration has probably thown the tail assembly; the plastic nub which keys to boom has snapped off. She's flown atleast 15 hard flights since last rebuild or tinkering so not exactlly sure why it failed.

                          Ah well, the damage is one tail blade, a bent boom and the torque tube has vanished! Lucky escape I think
