Main drive gears

Hi people,

just bought a Nitro super pro from a guy at our club and noticed it has white gears including torque tube gears? All the others I have seen are grey in a nitro and white in electric. Is there any difference other than the colour

On changing my TT gears following a tail-heavy landing, the new ones I got were white too.

So do some kits come with white gears? does anybody else have white gears in their nitro?

hi yes i have white gears in my 600le i am just buildings,

Align used to make both sets of gears, white for electric & grey for nitro. Reason being, that the nitro stains on grey gears didn't notice as much.

As both sets are the same spec (apart from colour) Align has recently said that it will only make the one plastic stamp (white). It's cheaper for them.

So, white gear will be it. But grey main gears, tail gears & TT front & rear drives are still available, just in lower numbers till stock runs out tis all.

I prefer the grey plastic, but flying nitro, I would, wouldn't I......
