700 maiden

hi guys,
took the 700 for its maiden today, first tryed to get the engine running ok once started and walked away ready to take off it just kept cutting out
i was with kennyc and oneandonlyian so we messed with the mixtures abit and starts first time with lots of power great work guys
got into hover and the complete heli just shakes
so me dropped the gain down alot tail not to bad buy i need to change the tail servo horn to a smaller one so i can get 100% travel
i had altered the travel adjust in the tx to L74% and R44% i didnt realize its got to be 100% in both directions
so it was my fault on the settup side of things so i shall change the servo horn on like kenny c has told me on how i should set it up
and ian thanks for the flybar m8 that work atreat m8
so down to the setup again to get it for next weekend

Good one mate, hope to be following you soon with mine. My last 90 was a Synergy, but sold it a year ago due to fear of crashing it. Hoping I won't feel like that with the 700.

yes weng great apart from the shakes from the heli
i think once ive set the tail up right to get rid of it shaking it will be great to fly must admit tho not sure who was shaking the most me or the 700

Could it be a rich engine causing that?

it was a bit rich ben we struggled to keep it going but tuned the low mixture down and perfect just shakes m8 i think ive set up the spartan and the end points up wrong maybe

just treat it as a new engine cos it got all new internals and you'll be good.
