I flew it last week with a crazy blade pitch of beyond 16 degrees Mark.

Will put around 14 degrees in for this weekend and try that.

The FBL pitch range on the 700 goes to a crazy amount Mark so be aware of this.

                  Update.!!!

Another great afternoons flying with the FBL on the 700..

Having reduced the pitch range along with the swash values for both elevator and aileron my flying has definately improved loads with the help of this Align system today.

Later in the afternoon I flew my Flybarred 700LE and the difference was night and day.

Last week was a real eye opener.

This week was the serious bit and flying this FBL system is now a complete pleasure..

                      Tim

You were obviously pretty pleased with the 700N before, now you have done some time on fbl what are your thoughts on the feel of the flybar head when you went back to it exactly.

The reason i ask is many people love the 600LE`s performance but when i got mine flying i felt it was slow, loose and disconnected compared to my fbl 600N.

                        Chris.

Your thoughts are word for word what I was thinking after returning to the flybarred heli.

I wouldn't say slow but certainly not as locked in and to be honest I brought the flybarred heli in around 6 times looking for some more power hence adjusting the needle's.

Several members watched me fly both helis and "ALL" agreed the FBL brought the best out in me.

After two outings with the FBL heli my thoughts are now beginning to look at a second Align FBL kit to put on my second 700.

                        Yes they are that good.

Thanks Tim,its always interesting to hear how other people define the feel of fbl and react when flying between fbl and flybarred models.

As you say your thoughts kinda mirror my own, maybe this is a common reaction to them.

I feel i will have no choice but to convert my last remaining flybarred model (600LE) to fbl with the Align system i have here when the heads are available on their own,if i dont i feel it just wont get flown now.

Really pleased you are liking the experience of it,your initial reactions pretty much mirrored also my first experience with my Logo 500 when i converted that.

Have fun with it and i welcome your ongoing thoughts.

If I may change this thread a little how are Autos with the Align FBL can you streatch them and decay the head speed as you can with a flybar and still have full control or do the electronics start to cause phase issues as has been a problem with some earlier systems

I think this should answer your question mate.

Autos with the Align fbl are fine as are take offs,i could hang my 700 on autos all the way until there was nothing left in the head and it behaves.

I think all fbl systems behave slightly different to a flybar head as it will keep more cyclic authority as the headspeed decays than a flybar head would but its only a slight difference and once you have done a couple you wont even notice it.

I think the vast majority of fliers will find this the case.
