FBL. My first experience

Well the day came and I tried FBL for the very first time today.

After flying the stock fly-barred helis ever since I started I didn't know what to expect other than the local reports from this forum.

First reaction was a total "WOW" followed by various swear words.

The power and insane straight tracking of this kit takes flying helis to another new level.

Straight line flying must touch 80mph as it crossed the front of me.

Everything was setup with stock settings so no adjustments were made other than reducing the pitch, I think over 15 degrees is too much for my ham fisted efforts but hell did it shoot the stars when pitched sky-wards.

Funnels / Rainbows / Sustained flips are a breeze now with very little input from the pilot once into the move.

Money well spent.???

I say yes, If you want a bigger adrenaline rush than your normal heli gives you.

Buy one now.

Flight time, I had to cut this 10 min video to squeeze on Youtube.

Yes is does give you that feel good feeling.

Saw Shaun fly his flybarless today. They do look so much better without the flybar.

Wish I was good enough to appreciate one.

welcome to the would off no fly bars tim , has you no i have vbar for some time now it was same for me what a difference , well its looking good for this new system , i may get one sometime for a 500 maybe for trying new moves on ect

Its hard to say how it feels other than very crisp, Extra power. Scrub that.. Loads more power and tracks beautifully.

It could be said this is a flying "Aid" but I would sooner say its the next generation heli that will phase the existing Flybar out.

Just my opinion of course.

that is very nice flying you are doing there sir... im along along way off that standard.

i have set myself a target by the end of this summer i want to be happily doing circuits, figure 8, flips...

if i accompish the above i will treat myself to a 700, my dream heli....

Very excited now... you have made all the right noises in favour of the system and you can see and hear from the vid the extra power on tap.
