Just been hovering it in the fiekd behind running in last tank and setting uo the tt when bang one of the bolts holding the blade grip snapped,thus two blades flying in opposit directions across the field.

Just one blade has a crack in it and lost the links and dampers!!

could of been worse,only me around with in 40ft of my house wife looking out the kitchen window trying not to laugh and the heli was only 5ft up as was landing off to get some bits now

feathering shaft is ok and not bent,all for the sake of a 20p bolt

But as you say no one hurt,thats the main thing

Just been out with James and his feathering shaft bolts came loose on his LE... noticed in time lucckily.

Sure it was not the same on yours causing the spindle to hit the blade root and snapping the bolt?

Any marks on the root mate?

Blimey also mate, hell thats not good.
As Mark said, both my bolts came loose in flight and i noticed it was making more blade slap noise than normal and when i got back to the pits noticed they were loose, i have refitted with tons of locktight, flies really good though, i love it and just thrashed the hell out of it today, also had a play on marks 700 checking a issue and that flies so gooooooooodddd, just got to get mine built now.

realy cant understand that as only hovering running the engine in ,in the field behind house was on the last tank and just landing...wouldent of liked the outcome if it was up and over anthing...carrnage!

been to hobby hanger for the third time today and got it all back together now with like you say lashings of locktight! ive done it the marklane way

There are tens of thousands of 600's out there and you have been unlucky... it won't happen again i'm sure

Just a thought, did you clean out the feathering shaft with alcohol to get all the oil out from the manufacturing process.

If not the lock tight will do nothing at all.

Had one fail today on one of my 600's today. This one has the Align metal tail grips.

Saw the grip/ blade departing as it got batted by a main blade. Hit Hold sharpish but as the headspeed reduced the imbalance threw the tail gear box of the end of the boom!

This is my 2nd bolt failure the other was on my Trex 700 in Sept

Damage tail blades/ Torque Tube/main blades and possibly a mainshaft

Im changing my metal grips on the LE,last straw,too much nasty shit like this happening of late.

Im blaming the metal grips with the play in the thrusts,my bolt washers on the LE are saucer shaped,on the pro,plastic and the washers are flat as kate moss's chest!!
