  • T-Rex 700 Nitro: go for Mod 1 or std main gear?

    Hello,

quick question, I just started putting together a 700 LE (YS 91 SR / Hatori SB-19 FH) for 20 % nitro.
Now I've got one Mod 1 main gear / pinion set available. Should I use it, or stay with the stock main gear? If the problems with the standard gear are now solved by Align, I'd rather stay with the stock one. On the other hand, this heli will do many many tictocs next summer :-)
    Any would be opinion appreciated

I think the general opinion is go straight for the mod 1 gear, specially' if you have one to hand

if you have one then you might aswel put it on, but the -1 gear has sorted the issue for me.

              OK, thanks, all!
              I think I'll give the -1 (standard Mod 0.7) gear a chance.
